Omawumi Gets Surprise Baby Shower, Goes Emotional
It is no longer news that popular musician, Omawunmi, is pregnant with her second baby.
The singer’s friends threw her a surprise baby shower yesterday, April 12th.
The gathering which took place at the presidential suite of Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, had her friends and colleagues such as Toke Makinwa, Tiwa Savage, Sasha, Lami Phillips, Toju Foyeh, Olakunbi Oyelese, Damilola Attoh, Waje, Latasha Ngwube, Freda Francis and others there.
The singer however got emotional by the surprise and she started sobbing.

Meanwhile, today happens to be the pregnant singer’s birthday.
She took to instagram to shower accolades on her friends who organised the party and her husband, Yusuf, for his love.

‘Lying in bed after my friends threw a surprise Baby Shower for me. Today is the first day that i’ve had a surprise anything cos i always bully my friends that i dont like Surprise parties! Guess what happened? I cried like a baby! I felt (still feel) so loved!!! Thanx to all my friends who made this surprise happen! Thanx so much for the love, i selected my friends well! Different personalities, beautiful inside out, and real lovers of God.”
