The party spoke about the purported N600million given to the INEC staff in the state with the aim to rig the April 11 election in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party, Daily Trust reports.
Kebbi APC posed and allegation while delivering a press conference on April 9, Thursday, in Birnin Kebbi.
Based on the claim, the PDP together with the INEC officials has concluded arrangements to use PVCs bought during the presidential election for the polls rigging.
Alhaji Sani Dododo, the party’s public relations officer said:
“The areas where the irregularities are expected to occur include Zuru, Shanga and Bagudu local governments. We have alerted security agencies in the state of the plan and I want people of Kebbi State to be aware of the situation, because we are not going to accept this.”
In response, Jibril Ibrahim Zarewa, the state resident electoral commissioner, and  Mallam Haruna Saidu, the PDP campaign organization official, denied the allegations.
Ahead of the tomorrow’s governorship and State House of Assembly elections, in various parts of the country reports are making rounds about the possible rigging in some areas.
Rotimi Amaechi, Rivers state governor, yesterday said that Nigeria’s First Lady Patience Jonathan was pressurizing the INEC and security agencies to rig the governorship election in the state.
