ZLATAN Ibrahimovic has welcomed Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain, with the Argentina international’s transfer from Manchester United moving ever closer.
United manager Louis van Gaal revealed on Saturday night that Di Maria had not joined up with his team-mates on their pre-season tour as expected.
PSG coach Laurent Blanc added shortly afterwards that there is a “good possibility” the former Real Madrid man will move to Parc des Princes this summer, and Ibrahimovic has wasted no time in offering his hospitality.
“Welcome to him, he will bring his qualities, he is a good player,” the Swede told Le Parisien. “With him the team will be better.”
On Saturday, Ibrahimovic revealed that he will be staying at PSG this summer, and he reiterated that stance in his latest interview: “I will remain in Paris, where I am happy”.
