Double OW seven: Daniel Craig suffers another injury on set of Bond movie Spectre while filming high-speed car chase in Rome

James Bond has encountered a villainous new adversary during filming of the next episode of the franchise in Rome – the city’s famous cobblestones and potholes.

Daniel Craig, who plays Bond in the forthcoming Spectre, was injured behind the wheel during a high-speed car chase through the streets of Rome - his second injury while filming the movie.

The secret agent’s state of the art silver Aston Martin DB10 hit a bump in the road on Monday, as it raced through the central streets, which had been closed off for filming.

Emergency: Doctors were called after Craig hit his head on interior of his Aston Martin DB10, according to a local newspaper but the injury was not serious
