Kane admits he's flattered by United's interest in him
Harry Kane has revealed he’s flattered by interest from Manchester United - but has told Louis van Gaal that he’s already at a big club in Tottenham.
The England striker is on Van Gaal’s list of targets this summer as the Dutchman looks to recruit a world class goal-scorer.
United are considering an initial bid of £40m for Kane - but executive vice chairman Ed Woodward knows he faces a battle to convince Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to sell.
And 21-year-old Kane - who scored 32 goals last season - also claims he has no plans to leave White Hart Lane, despite United’s pursuit.
Van Gaal wants to pair Kane with Wayne Rooney in United's attack
“I am happy at Spurs and I look forward to the future with Spurs,” he said. “I have seen there is interest but that’s all I know.
“It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested.
“Tottenham are one of the big clubs. That is the way people have to see it.
“I am at a big club.”
