Manchester United transfers: Harry Kane flattered by interest from Louis van Gaal
Man Utd manager Louis van Gaal has placed Tottenham striker Harry Kane on his wanted list this summer
The England striker is on Van Gaal’s list of targets this summer as the Dutchman looks to recruit a world class goal-scorer.
United are considering an initial bid of £40m for Kane - but executive vice chairman Ed Woodward knows he faces a battle to convince Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to sell.
And 21-year-old Kane - who scored 32 goals last season - also claims he has no plans to leave White Hart Lane, despite United’s pursuit.
“It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested.
“Tottenham are one of the big clubs. That is the way people have to see it.
“I am at a big club.”
