Bobbi Kristina is the offspring of two music superstars, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. At age 10, she debuted on her father’s reality TV series, “Being Bobby Brown.”

Following their tumultuous marriage marked by drug addiction and domestic violence, Whitney and Bobby Brown divorced in 2007.

Along with Bobbi Kristina, Whitney Houston raised Nick Gordon, whom she took in as a 12 year old. Gordon wore a large tattoo of Houston’s face on his arm and called the singer “mom,” but she never adopted him or included him in her will. When Houston died in February 2012, Bobbi was named as the sole beneficiary of her mother’s estate.

Tributes have been pouring in over the demise of the  American reality television and media personality, singer, and heiress.

Whitney Houston died in 2012. Just like her daughter after her, she was found unresponsive in a bathtub. Her death was ascribed to cocaine use. Bobby Brown, who has been by his daughter’s side almost althrough her coma, has yet to make an official statement.

2 teenagers stab their parents and 3 siblings to death

2 Oklahoma teenagers, 18 year old Robert Bever and his 16-year-old brother, Michael Bever, have been accused of stabbing and killing 5 family members.

They were arrested after their 13-year-old sister who survived the attack identified them as the attackers in the Wednesday night massacre in Broken Arrow, OK.

The news comes as it was revealed the one of the victims, 12-year-old Daniel, had called 911 just before dying alongside his parents, David, 52, and April, 44, and siblings Christopher, 7, and Victoria, 5.
Although police originally said a 911 call from the home was silent, resulting in a welfare check, it has now been revealed in documents filed to support the teenager's arrest that a caller from the home was able to tell police that 'their brother was attacking their family'.
The family were found dead at 11.30pm on Wednesday in their luxurious house in Broken Arrow, southeast of Tulsa.

Crystal Bever, 13, is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Her two-year-old sister, Autumn Bever, was discovered unharmed and is in state custody. She was allegedly born prematurely and her parents had recently started a nonprofit to help other families who have premature children.

Investigators said a 12-year-old male called 911 at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday and said they needed help because their brother was attacking the family. When officers arrived to the 700 block of Magnolia Court, they found blood on the porch and could hear a faint female voice inside asking for help.

When they made their way inside to the gruesome scene, they found the girl, who had been stabbed multiple times, the document says. The 12-year-old who called 911 was dead, they said.

"The young girl was still alive and made statements to the officers that her brothers [were] responsible for attacking her and her family," the arrest report says.

As reported earlier, police and a K9 officer were able to track down Bever and his 16-year-old brother in a wooded area behind the home, and the new report reveals they found fresh footprints in the back yard. The two were arrested and placed in the Broken Arrow city jail then transferred to the Tulsa County Jail on Friday.

Bever was booked on five first-degree murder complaints and one count of aggravated domestic assault and battery with a deadly weapon. In his mugshot, Bever appears to have blood splatters and mud on his face, and BAPD Cpl. Leon Calhoun said that many of the officers who have been involved in the investigation are disturbed by his demeanor.

"He has a smirk on his face …I don't know if there's any remorse whatsoever based on that picture," Calhoun said of Robert Bever's first mugshot. A second mugshot was taken once he was transferred to Tulsa County.

At this time, the youngest brother's name has not been made public in any news releases sent out by Broken Arrow police. A Tulsa County jailer, however, identified him to News On 9 as Michael Bever.

The 13-year-old girl survived surgery and is said to be stable at a local hospital.

Police said on Thursday that multiple knives and a hatchet were found in the home and are believed to be the murder weapons.

We Will Bring An End To Boko Haram – Major General

A senior official in the Nigerian military, Nasir Muazu, a Major General, has revealed that the terrorist group, Boko Haram, can no longer confront Nigerian soldiers in a battle and come out victorious in the North East region of the country.

Muazu made the statement on Saturday at the closing ceremony of the Nigeria Army Inter Brigade Competition in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

The Major General who is the General Officer Commanding 2 Mechanized Division of the Nigerian Army said, “I just came back from the North East and I can comfortably tell you that Boko Haram cannot and I repeat cannot take any offensive attack against Nigerian Forces, that one is for sure.”

Muazu acknowledged that the insurgents had changed tactics to aiming at soft targets. He said, “What the Boko Haram insurgents are now doing is hitting sub-targets which indicates that their days are numbered.”

He assured the gathering that the Nigerian soldiers are capable of bringing an end to the insurgency, while revealing that  the military had reviewed and renewed its strategy in order to defeat the terrorists.

He also disclosed that all military commands had been placed on alert in order to fight headlong, the challenges of  insecurity.

“We are looking forward to an Army that is responsive to the society, that would respond to the demand and needs of our people.

“I want to remind all Nigerians that this preparation of explosives by the insurgents is not carried out in the open, it is carried out in houses and hidden places. So every Nigerian must key into how we can win the battle against insurgency in the North East. I think with that support, we are going to make it,” he said.

According to Premium Times, Muazu said the Nigerian Army would continue to work hard to sustain the relative peace in Nigeria and not lose sight of its professional roles of defending the territorial integrity of the country.

Obasanjo comes for Soyinka again, says he knows more about wine tasting than politics

Obasanjo and Soyinka, both in their 80's, have had a long love/hate relationship...always coming for each other at the slightest opportunity. The latest person to come for the other is Obasanjp. Speaking to Channels TV's 'Book Club' yesterday, where he was interviewed about his controversial book 'My Watch' where he also trashed Soyinka, Obasanjo said what he wrote about the literary icon in his book was purely his view and that Soyinka did not have to agree with him.
“Wole Soyinka is a gifted man. I have always acknowledged that but he is a bad politician and I have also always said that. That is my own point of view. He may agree with it, he may not agree with it. But having said that, I also, in my book, bring out Wole Soyinka as I see him and that’s my own judgment; that’s my own perspective of him. He may agree, he may not agree but anybody can bring out his own perspective of me. For instance, I know that if I want somebody to give me the best wine, one of the people I will go to is Wole Soyinka and I know he has a taste for good wine and I said that in the book.” he said. Continue to see what OBJ wrote about Soyinka that ticked him off
“For Wole, no one can be good, nor can anything be spot-on politically except that which emanates from him or is ordained by him. His friends and loved ones will always be right and correct, no matter what they do or fail to do. He is surely a better wine connoisseur and a more successful aparo (guinea fowl) hunter than a political critic."

Photo: See what PHCN workers are doing in Benin City this morning

This is currently happening on a street in Benin City. Four PHCN workers who are installing new electric poles and a transformer in the area are working on three different poles with just one ladder. The ladder is taken to one pole, one worker climbs up and hangs on there while the ladder is taken to another pole for another worker to do same. Aren't these men risking their lives?
