Inside Tyga's insanely lavish life: $6.7m home, over 5 luxury cars & more..but he's worth about $5m
"OK, let's keep it real, shall we? When Tyga surprised Kylie Jenner with a Ferrari for her 18th birthday, a few thoughts quickly crossed our minds. Aside from what are we doing wrong that Kylie got a luxury car for her birthday and we can't even get a text back?, many people were shocked to know that the rapper is even ballin' like that.
So just how much is the 25-year-old star worth? And what other lavish luxuries has he indulged in? We did some investigating...
Aside from his album releases, there are the tours. Last year, Tyga was grossing over $50,000 per night, according to concert data provider Pollstar (via Forbes).
That doesn't even include his latest Fan of a Fan joint project with Chris Brown.
And then there are his other business ventures—a clothing store in Los Angeles called Last Kings, a watch line and a $1.5 million deal with Reebok. He also launched an adult film site (www.rackcityxxx.com) which had an estimated net worth of approximately $12,000 within the first month.
So, we see what kinda money he's bringing in. Where does it go?
Well, besides buying a sportscar for his girl (and going on beachy getaways), the rapper stays at a Calabasas home that is estimated at $6.7 million.
Then, there's his icey jewelry collection that includes (but is not limited to): six gold watches, three King Tut pendant necklaces, one large King Tut diamond necklace, seven small pendant necklaces, three gold animal cuffs, two chain bracelets, one chain bracelet and one gold phone case.
And when it comes to his own wheels, Tyga is rollin' with some of the finest. The star's four-wheel collection includes a Mercedes SLS coupe (estimated at $221,580), Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe (estimated at $438,325), Mercedes G-wagon (estimated at $115,400), Mercedes SLS AMG (estimated at $221,580), Mercedes SLR McLaren (estimated at $452,750), Vintage Fogiato Impala and a Laborghini Aventador (estimated at $397,500).

Hotbed of apology! CNN boss travels to Kenya to personally apologize over 'terror hotbed' report
A day before President Barrack Obama's arrival in Kenya, for his first official visit, the news channel had referred to Kenya as "terror hotbed” The comment sparked public outcry and angry reactions on social media. Kenyans called out CNN over the comment, hurling abuses and sarcastic humour under the hashtag #SomeoneTellCNN.
The hashtag quickly spread and in no time became the number trending topic. The Kenyan government however went further to reprimand the station by withdrawing its advertising campaign in the station for what the country’s Tourism Board describe as the “misrepresentation of the country’s status.”
President Kenyatta expressed his deep disappointment at the report. He reiterated that the war on terror was a global threat and not unique to Kenya. He further added that CNN's report was unfortunate and ill-timed, since it came at a critical moment in Kenya's history and made a mockery of the sacrifices of Kenyan's men and women in uniform.
According to reports, Tony Maddox who oversees CNN’s global editorial policy admitted that CNN’s description of Kenya as a “hotbed of terror” was both undeserved and ill- conceived during a meeting at the Kenyan presidential villa.
“We acknowledge there is a widespread feeling that the report annoyed many, which is why we pulled down the report as soon as we noticed. It wasn’t a deliberate attempt to portray Kenya negatively, it is regrettable and we shouldn’t have done it" Maddox said. "There is a world at a war with extremists; we know what a hotbed of terror looks like, and Kenya isn’t one,” he added.

BENUE ASSEMBLY APPROVES N5.5B LOAN FOR COUNTERPART PROJECTS
The Benue State House of Assembly earlier today, approved the request by Governor Samuel Ortom to obtain a 5.5billion Naira loan for counterpart projects
The request, contained in a letter by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Targema Takema, on behalf Governor Samuel Ortom, was read on the floor of the assembly by the Speaker, Mr Terkimbi Ikyange.
In the letter, the government explained that it would use the money to settle its funding contributions for some major programmes.
It stated that the programmes included the Millennium Development Goals, FADAMA III, Water and Sanitation Programmes, Community and Social Development Projects, Control of HIV/AIDS among others.
The speaker told the members that the past administration had not paid the state’s counterpart fund contribution to the programmes since 2014.
Ikyange explained that the loan was necessary, as it would enable the government access funds earmarked under the programmes for critical projects that would greatly benefit people of the state.
According to him, the money coming to the state from the Federation Account is inadequate to finance the programmes due to the huge debt profile left behind by the past administration.

TRANSITION COMMITTEE MAKES SHOCKING DISCOVERIES OF SUSWAM’S ADMINISTRATION
A peep into how the finances of Benue State were looted by officials in the administration of Gabriel Suswam, the immediate past governor of the state have begun to emerge with mind boggling revelations on government expenditures.
These revelations were contained in a two-volume report submitted to Governor Samuel Ortom Wednesday at the old Banquet Hall in the Peoples Government House, Makurdi by the 16-member Transistion Committee, led by its Chairman Transition Mr Mike Iordye.
In his seven page speech, the Transition Committee Chairman disclosed that “during the tenure of the immediate past administration in the state, there was very high level of impunity in the business of governance. There appeared to be a calculated atmosphere of confusion, as governmnet institutions like that Civil Service Commission that would have ordinarily provided the needed direction, championed the course of impunity in the state.”
The committee also announced that investigations showed that the former administration left a debt burden of over N130billion.
A preliminary report had indicated that the state owed 90bilion.
Consequently, the Committee observed that throughout the eight year tenure of the last PDP administration in the state led by Suswam, “rules, regulations and procedures governing the conduct of government business were brazenly set aside. This facilitated the subsequent massive corruption, fraud and naked theft of government funds which took pla in the state.”
For example, Iordye further stated that “contracts were heavily inflated” with many of them “abandoned across the MDA’s, especially at the Ministry of Works and Transport, Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Environment and Urban Development, Ministry of Lands and Survey, Government House, and the ministry of Water Resources and it’s parastatal, BERWASA. This happened after the contractors had collected huge sums of money.”
Apart from the huge debt profile the Suswam administration left behind, there were questionable expenditures carried out by officials of the state in the past administration.
One of such blatant disregard to prudence in the expenditure of the state finances is how a whopping sum of over N6.507billion meant for SURE-P, a federal government initiative in the state with a total receipt of N7.743billion disappeared and was not accounted for leaving a paltry total expenditure at N1.236billion from May, 2012 to December,2014.
The committe also found out that in 2014, a stockbroking firm known as M/S Elizir Securities were mandated by the former Benue state Governor Suswam through the former State Commissioner of finance, Hon. Omadachi Oklobia to “sell down N10 billion worth of stock” belonging to the state governmnet. After the sales, the “sum of N8,368,699,932.30 was subsequently realised”.
However, out of this amount, the “committee found out that a sum of N5.3 billion was paid into a Zenith Bank Account No. 1013852648 which was found to be an expenditure account of the ministry of finance. The other Zenith Bank account No. 1013677218 where the sum of N2,068,699,932.30 was paid into was found not to belong to Ministry of Finance or any agency of the Benue state government.”
Unfortunately, the transition committee told the governor that “all efforts by the committee to trace the identity or owner of the account failed as neither BIPC nor Elixir securities were willing to co-operate.”
Another questionable financial transactions discovered against the administration of Suswam was how the “sum of N4,364,653,985,00 was said to have been transfered to government treasury from the expenditure account of the ministry of finance, while the sum of N355,931,979.00 was transferred back to BIPC and the balance of N534,700,000.00 was withdrawn and paid in cash on curious expenditure heads within just four months.
A close look at the books of the state showed that on October 17, 2014, the sum of N60Million was alleged to have been spent on a what the officials termed “Military Retreat,” while the sums of N500million, N45million and N128million was withdrawn on 14th and 20th November, 2014 as well as January 12, 2015 under a “Government House expenditure” account purported to be augmentation of the accounts of the seat of government.
On January 13th and 14th, 2015, officials in the Benue state Government House under Suswam again withdrew cash in two tranches to the tune of N100million and N17million while another phoney cash withdrawal under what they called “UBA Capital” to the tune of N29.7million was made.
On the debt profile of the state, the Committee discovered that as at the time the administration of Ortom took over, arrears of pensions and gratuties stood at over N16.7billion, arrears of salaries were over N9.5billion while contractual obligations was N72.03billion. Commercial bank loans stood at N11.129billion, CBN loans N585million, State Revenue Bond N9.694billion, Foreign Loans N9.818billion with judgement debt standing at N1.236billion totalling over N130billion.
The committee revealed that inspite of glaring financial recklessness disvovered, it had not taken a look at the local government debts “except arrears of pension and gratuity which was presented by the local government pension Board to be N10,065,633,415.26.”
Iordye who was at one time Head of Service in the Suswam administration explained that in the course of its work, “the committee found with utmost dismay that there were many industries in the state and other commercial investments and a large number of them were on lease for long periods of time at ridiculously low prices.”
As one of ways for the committee to get to the root of some false declarations in the handover notes, the Committee on Friday 3rd July, 2015 undertook the inspection tour of Oju local government are to “confirm the existence” of 751 non existent boreholes claimed to have been sunk by the Benue state Rural Water and Sanitation Agency, BERWASA.
Committee Chairman called on the state government to recover these monies immediately.
The committee’s five-point term of reference included among others;
*to study the handing over notes of the immediate past administration under the leadership of Rt. Hon Gabriel Torwua Suswam, interact with all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the State Public Service and ascertain the state of Affairs as at the time of handover.
*To ascertain the assets of the state including physical assets and investments,
*To ascertain the level of indebtedness of the state including commercial Bank Loans, State Revenue Bond; Arrears of Pensions and Arrears of Gratuities, indebtedness to contractors, judgement debts; Foreign Loans; Arrears of Salaries; and CBN loans;
* To review the revenue collection machinery of the state with a view to improving revenue generation; and
*To consider any other matter incidental to the smooth take off of government.
Members of the 16 member Transition Committee include Mike Iordye, Akange Audu, Arc Joe Kyaagba, Terwase Orbunde, Barr Tagema Takema, Maj-Gen Lawrence Onoja (rtd) as well as Prof Johnson Onah.
Others are Prof Steve Ugbah, Rhoda Ako, Hon Titus Zam, Paul Udenyi, Patricia Kupchi, Dr Christopher Obilikwu Obute, Mrs Helen Bendega, Nancy Awuese Torhee as well as Boniface Nyaakor, the director of EXCO who also served as secretary of the committee.
The report of the Transition Committee have been handed over to the Judicial commission of Inquiry for further necessary action.

IN THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE, WE HAVE MADE A HUGE SACRIFICE.
The justice we fought for was never about one candidate; it was about tomorrow being better. It was about avoiding a repeat of yesterday. Finally satisfied with the acknowledgement of the genuineness of our grievances and trusting a truly honourable man completely deserving of our total belief that he would bring sanity to all institutions, we make this one sacrifice by continuing the course of justice through alternative and legitimate channels. We note with high hopes, the fundamental changes our President shall bring to our party and to our nation. We will not like to be counted as one of those whose personal ambitions stood in the way of the progress he is committed to.
We, accordingly, give commensurate consideration to Mr. President’s series of fatherly entreaties. His clear understanding of what we fight for helped in no small measure in addressing our grouse especially with vivid assurances to rid our party of any tendency that elevates imposition and impunity.
Long ago, the offer of a House of Reps ticket was meant to settle our grievances. But that would only have meant that lessons are not learnt and impunity is compensated by impunity in yet another process and contest we were not even an aspirant in. We rejected the offer. Therefore, we insisted that lessons be learnt and assurances of a no repeat be extracted. We are confident we are at that stage now. Lessons are learnt; assurances extracted.
For the avoidance of doubt, we have always believed that we earnestly have a genuine and sound case notwithstanding any challenges and limiting factors we were likely to face in court.
We regret nothing. We are happy to have stood for something wherein our grievances have been acknowledged and fully appreciated by even the highest office in the land.
In the end, our stance for what is right has not waned; we believe our party, the APC shall be an exemplar of the change she professes. We commit ourselves to making this happen. For that, there is no sacrifice too big.
We salute the eminent role played by Alh. Waziri Tambuwal, Executive Governor of Sokoto State and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara in whom the President has trusted to lead today’s efforts in complementing Mr President’s efforts in this saga.
To those we led on this journey, we are grateful for your continued support, prayers and steadfastness. In your numbers, we saw the good in our people and their readiness to support a good cause. We applaud that. We urge you to always walk with your shoulders high. We would not have let go if we didn’t think we have extracted enough assurances that tomorrow would be better for Benue. Never again shall this mundane legacy of imposition be allowed to rear its ugly head in Benue State. For that was, after all, our ultimate goal. We count on your understanding always. We are grateful, we remain indebted to you.

Dasuki Releases Images Of Weapons Bought By GEJ
Colonel Sambo Dasuki, former National Security Adviser (NSA), has released images of sophisticated weapons attained by ex-president Goodluck Jonathan to fight the Boko Haram insurgency.
Czech tanks T-72 and rocket launchers worth 7M€ to Nigeria to fight Boko Haram.
Dasuki has also spoken about how the previous government recaptured many local governments from the terrorists.
Immediate past NSA told PRNigeria: “The armored tanks have comprehensive NBC protection system, just as we deployed Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles that we bought and could withstand improvised explosive device (IED) attacks and ambushes. The vehicles had protected our troops from the land mine threats.
Main battle tank T72.
“We are glad that we also provided assorted Armoured Personnel Carriers to transport troops to the battlefield. They are armed for self-defence and to provide protection from attacks from shrapnel and small arms fire.
“All these were acquired in the last one year after years of frustration by Western powers who denied us of the equipment and sabotage our efforts to acquire same from other sources which are reasons for some delay in delivery.”
Soviet Union made T72 tanks in transportation mode.
Ex-NSA noted that some other weapons already paid for by the previous government are due to be transported soon.
“It was unfortunate that some elements are frustrating the efforts as we even had to query some suppliers for delay in delivery of arms and ammunitions,” Dasuki added.

“We utilized some of these equipment to recover more than 22 local governments under Boko Haram terrorists and ensured that Shekau did not disrupt the 2015 election as he had threatened. Not only did we ensure that the elections were peaceful, Shekau has never spoken to threaten anyone again since then.”

Former NSA answering to critics of past government on security problems, said: “In attempt to rubbish individuals for whatever reasons, political or otherwise, we should be careful not to rubbish sensitive institutions and their personnel that might still be in active service.
“It is unfortunate that some elements hide under the cover of anonymity in the media to rubbish some of the sacrifices we made. They should the take the courage to come out publicly by identifying themselves with their baseless allegations.”

It should be noted that President Muhammadu Buhari has fired all service chiefs alongside the NSA on July 13, Monday.
Sambo became a subject of media focus since his homes in Abuja and Sokoto were invaded by operatives of the Department of State Security Services (DSS) the same week he left office on the eve of Eid -Fitri 2015.
It should be noted that in the recent videos, Boko Haram leader Shekau failed to appear. This was followed by a set of allegations that he was either in hiding, or had been wounded or murdered.
