Parents Lock Up Daughter For 6 Years Because They Hated Her Boyfriend
A couple is currently facing charges of kidnapping after they locked
up their adult daughter for 6 years because they didn’t like her
boyfriend, police in China said. Worldwide odd news has more:
The cruel parents locked up their daughter, 24-year-old Zhang Qi, after they forced her to dump her boyfriend.
Even though she told her parents that her relationship had ended. Qi
tried several times to escape before they told everyone that she was
mentally ill and confined in their own property in Jingang, Hubei, for
her own protection.
Neighbors who knew about the locked up woman failed to call the
police out of fear of the parents. The incident came to light after one
resident moved away from the area and decided to call the police.
The resident last saw the woman laying on a pile of straw with a
couple of blankets and some food around. He told police that the parents
were treating their daughter like an animal.
He also uploaded photos of the woman on the Internet. Police raided
the home and rescued Qi. So far, no charges have been filed against the
parents.
UNBELIEVABLE: Thief Steals Entire House In Oregon, US.
A thief made off with an entire house in Klamath Falls, Oregon, this week in a heist that would make Ocean’s Eleven blush.
On Tuesday, the homeowner called the Klamath County
Sheriff’s Office to report that the home was missing, KOBI reports.
Moving this log cabin couldn’t have been easy, either. It was on a
foundation and definitely wasn’t a mobile home.
“[The owner] went to visit his part-time home and between the first
time he saw it and a couple of months later, it was gone. I mean can you
imagine?” Klamath County Sheriff Frank Skrah told The Washington Post.
Police spent two days searching and finally found the cabin on
Thursday, at least a mile away from its foundation. Skrah said there was
a legal dispute in which three people were claiming ownership of the
home, and one of them had sold it to a fourth person.
“We think that somebody busted out the foundation, jacked it up, put a
lowboy [trailer] underneath it and lowered it down on the lowboy and
took it,” Skrah said. The 1,200-square-foot cabin wasn’t occupied at the
time it was swiped. Deputies reportedly have a list of suspects, but
they wouldn’t release any more details about the homeowner or the
investigation. No charges have been filed.

Group Holds Solidarity March For Troops Fighting Boko Haram
Dozens
of Nigerians on Saturday marched round the nation’s capital, Abuja, to
show solidarity for the Nigerian and Multi National Forces fighting the
Boko Haram insurgents in the north-east.
The organisers of the march, Support Our Troops Foundation, said they
were motivated especially by recent success reports of reclaimed
territories by the troops in the heightened counter-terrorism offensive
launched against the insurgents.
They are hopeful that such show of solidarity would boost the morale
of the troops in the ongoing fight to root out the Boko Haram terrorists
from Nigeria.
According to the founder of the group, Funmi Ogbue, the support was
not just for the Nigerian troops. He said it was also a show of
solidarity for the multinational troops battling the insurgents from
their boarders. “Never Again”
The group ended the march at the Army Headquarters, where the army
spokesperson, Major General Chris Olukolade, showed appreciation for the
solidarity march, describing it as a morale booster.
Major General Olukolade said that the solidarity walk would spur them
for more results, assuring the group that “never again will reclaimed
territories fall to the insurgents”.
The troops have recorded remarkable successes in the last one week, reclaiming over ten communities from the insurgents.
The march and other gestures from the government and the citizenry
are expected to give more boost to the morale of the troops in their
efforts to crush the Boko Haram.
On Friday, the Nigerian military recaptured more towns in Adamawa and
Yobe States, keeping it free for the residents to return to their
homes.
The Defence Headquarters said troops flushed out Boko Haram
terrorists from Gulag, Madagali Local Government Area in Adamawa State
and Bara in Gulani LGA in neighbouring Yobe State.
“Troops have finally routed terrorists from Bara, the Headquarters of
Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State and Gulag, the Headquarters
of Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State in the early hours of
today, Friday .
“The fierce fighting that preceded the clearing of towns and other
communities resulted in appreciable casualties on the terrorists, the
capture of some of them, the recovery and destruction of arms, thousands
of assorted rounds ammunition as well as vehicles and other equipment
including; Anti-Aircraft Guns, General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMGs),
Grenades, Multi-barrel bombs, Multi-barrel Grenade Launchers, rifles and
mortar guns,” a spokesman for the military, Major General, Chris
Olukolade, said in a statement.
Other locations also cleared in the course of the two days operation include, Shikah, Fikayel, Tetebah, Buza, Kamla and Bumsa.

test to know the capacity and readiness of the Murtala Muhammed
International Airport, Lagos, to respond to a bomb attack situation.
This test was conducted following ongoing rumor that the extremist
Islamic sect, Boko Haram, could attack Lagos as parts of its campaign of
violence against the Federal Government.
As a result, the airport authorities have increased security at the local and international airports.

[OPINION] N5Billion Scam On Jonathan: Igbo Leaders Condemns Ohanaeze By Obinna Akukwe
Igbo leaders in the nineteen northern states of Nigeria have
continued to condemn the manner the National Executive of Ohanaeze
Ndigbo scammed President Goodluck Jonathan of N5 billion naira in return
for second term endorsement. They have threatened to expose the
successive culture of corruption and betrayal of Ndigbo for pecuniary
gains that has made the national body a disgrace to the South East.
Speaking with the Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress (IMC) Rev Obinna Akukwe in Abuja yesterday,
the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Kaduna State Chapter who is also the
President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in the 19 Northern States, Barrister A.C.
Amechi described what Ohanaeze Ndigbo National Body did to President
Jonathan as scam. According to him “ it is wickedness to scam an
innocent man( Jonathan) of billions of naira , share it among
yourselves and not remit a single kobo to any Ohanaeze Chapter in the
North, yet you tell the man that all is in control among Igbos in the
north” The obviously infuriated Igbo leader in the north stated further
that “ for Jonathan to get sizeable votes in the north, he needs the
mobilization of Ohanaeze Ndigbo who are the grassroots leaders and not
these people sitting comfortably in the East and Abuja” Barrister
Amechi asked those who scammed the President to return back his money.
In his contribution, the President Ohanaeze Ndigbo Taraba
State Chapter Chief Hon Timothy Nwadike said that “we are still waiting
to receive what they said that Jonathan brought for us to use to
campaign for him. The national body has not given us anything’. The
Chairman Imeobi Ohanaeze Taraba State Chapter, Engr Emeka Chukwuegbo in
his contribution told Rev Akukwe that “we hope they remit what Jonathan
gave us. We in Taraba State have not received any money from anywhere
and our people and other ethnic nationalities are already exiting the
state”
The Chairman Imeobi Ohanaeze Niger State Chapter, Chief J.C Onuigbo
told Rev Akukwe that “ Igbos in Niger State want to vote for Jonathan
but it is disheartening to hear that the money brought for that purpose
was shared among themselves and we in the north are not mobilized yet”
Chief Onuigbo added that “ as at now Igbos in Niger State are
contributing N200 naira each for security and mobilization for the
election yet the parent body have shared billions of naira”
The President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Niger State Chapter,
Chief Emmanuel Ezeudo condemned the heinous scamming of President
Jonathan. He decried the attitude of the National body of Ohanaeze
Ndigbo who are in the habits of taking decisions and sharing money among
themselves without consulting state chapter presidents.
Igbo leaders across the globe have already condemned the scamming
of Jonathan and situations whereby some single individuals took between
N300 to N100 millon naira of Jonathan’s largesse while the entire north
was not given a single kobo.
Chief Chekwas Okorie, founding member of Ohaneze Ndigbo and founder
of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) while speaking to journalists
in Enugu said that “They are now exposing themselves to public ridicule.
They are now accusing them of collection N5 billion for an endorsement
and they are denying they didn’t collect.
“But, definitely, they are dishing out some money to chapters of Ohanaeze. Where did that money come from?
“You now have an Ohanaeze that is drawing money outside Igboland to
fight each other. So, I feel disappointed as a person, but I feel sorry
for Igbo people because these people have betrayed them,”
Dr Dozie Ikedife, former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in his
reaction over the weekend told journalists that “Endorsement is done by
these groups because of what they are given and these endorsements are
purchasable
“In the politics of Nigeria, Igbo should always think of their
group interest and then national interest. Many people have been
wondering what will be the Igbo interest after the elections. For
instance, if there is trouble in the north, the Niger Delta or any part
of the country after the elections, how will it affect the Igbo”
The Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Elders Council, Chief Mbazulike
Amechi and Chairman Ohanaeze Caretaker Committee, Chief Ralph Obioha
had already condemned the notorious nature of Ohaneze leaders collecting
billions of naira from Jonathan without doing anything every election
year.
Following the protest by State Chapter Presidents of Ohanaeze
Ndigbo in the 19 Northern States, the National body in order to cover
the monumental embezzlement of Jonathan’sgoodwill to the group,
hurriedly assembled some Ezeigbos in the North at Abuja last Saturday
where each of the Ezeigbo State Council present were given N50, 000
naira each to keep silent and dissociate from Ohanaeze Chapter
Presidents.
The Igbo Chiefs who felt insulted by the N50, 000 gifts told Rev
Akukwe and the leadership of Igbo Mandate Congress on conditions of
anonymity that N50, 000 to twenty chiefs translating to N1 million naira
cannot account for the missing N5 billion naira. They expressed sadness
that what happened in 2011 under Ambassador Uwechue that is already
under probe has repeated again under Igariwey. They promised to expose
the scammers at the appropriate time if they fail to comport themselves
honorably. They are of the view that those who collected money from the
President and failed to remit accordingly are working for the opposition
party.

Northern Christian Leaders Recieve Death Threats For Endorsing Buhari
A group under the aegis of Northern Christian Leaders Eagle Eyes
Forum (NCLEEF) says its leaders have been receiving death threats for
endorsing the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s, presidential candidate,
Muhammadu Buhari.
Chairman of the Forum, Pastor Aminchi Habu, told newsmen in Kaduna on
Friday that President Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure in the past six years
was a disappointment to Nigerians, particularly the Christian community.
Habu said it was based on this that the Christian Forum decided to
ditch Jonathan and endorse Buhari who they believe could rid the country
of insecurity.
“Our decision to endorse Buhari was informed by our commitment to
build a free, fair and a secular society where the inheritance should be
justice to all,” said Habu.
“After the endorsement, our members, especially the chairman of this
forum, have continued to receive threatening phone calls and text
messages, calling us a sell-out group who have abandoned a Christian
candidate in the person of President Goodluck Jonathan,” Habu said.

The thief according to TMZ, then decided to take the dress back to the
Hotel in a garment bag that was inside a trash bag and deposited on a
2nd floor bathroom adjacent to a fitness center.
TMZ contacted the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. and gave them the info.
The police went over to the hotel, and they found a garment
bag with the dress inside just as the thief had described. His Nerve

The thief said he contacted TMZ because he wanted the world to know "Hollywood's fake bulls**t." A thief is a thief though

Happy to hear this! I hope she was sacked and not that she left on her
own. When you throw your colleagues under the bus, you don't deserve to

that this happened. Anyway, E! last night released an official
statement announcing her exit from the show. See below...
"Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other
opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions
to the series over the past five years, during which time the show
became a hit with viewers. Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Mon, March 30, at 9 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement."
